Cookies and similar storage

Last updated 1 October 2026

Intercom Chat uses only what it needs to work. In practice that is one cookie and a small offline copy of the app. We do not use advertising cookies, and we do not use analytics or tracking tools that follow you around the web. Because everything we store is strictly necessary to provide the service you asked for, we do not show a cookie banner.

What we store in your browser

NameWhat it is forHow long
ic_sessionKeeps you signed in to your workspace. It holds a random value; we keep only a fingerprint of it on our servers. It is sent only to your workspace’s address, and cannot be read by page scripts.Until you sign out, or up to 30 days (shorter if your workspace chooses)
Offline copy of the appThe app can be installed on your device. Your browser then keeps a copy of its basic pages and images so it can show an offline notice and load faster. It does not keep your messages.Until a new version replaces it

Services we use that may set their own

Our network provider (Cloudflare) protects the site from attacks and may set a security cookie for that purpose. When you pay, the payment page is run by our payment provider (Stripe or PayPal), which sets its own cookies under its own policy.

Your choices

You can clear or block cookies in your browser settings. If you block the sign-in cookie, you will not be able to stay signed in. If we ever add anything that is not strictly necessary, we will ask you first and update this page.

More about how we handle personal information is in our privacy policy.
