Connect GitHub, Jira and other tools

Post updates from your other tools into a channel.

Owners and Admins connect tools under Admin, then Apps. Pick a ready-made app (GitHub, GitLab, Jira, Sentry or Linear) or “Anything else”, choose the channel, and you are given a secret address and a few short steps to follow in the other tool.

• The address is shown once and can be revoked at any time. Treat it like a password.
• The app shows under its own name, can only add plain text to that one channel, and can never read anything.
• Messages from apps are checked by your data-protection rules like any other.
• Anything that can send a web request can post here; the Anything else option explains the format.
